~Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted~
Christianity calls for its believers to mourn for the state of the world. The very reason for Jesus' birth is God's love, and hence, mourning, for a world that is broken and fallen. We are called to be concern with not just ourselves, but for things that are greater than us.
Poverty, diseases, crimes, broken families...
For He is Jehovah Rapha, the Great Healer. And His followers are called to partner with Him in the healing this world.
The same power that conquered the grave is in me.
Your love that rescued the earth lives in me.
So follow Me, and I will show you great things that will confound the wise, and I will do great things through you. Follow Me.
